Lanora "Ann" Woolley, 82, of Bellmead passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5 at her residence. Services will be 2 pm Saturday, Sept. 8 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Friday, September 7 at the funeral home. Ann was born July 5, 1930 in Canton, Texas to Martin and Emma (Morris) Corley. She married the love of her life, Gordon Woolley on June 14, 1947. She was a Teachers Aide at Crestview Elementary until retiring after 20 years of service. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church and the Heart of her family. Ann enjoyed hunting and crocheting, but her real passion was racing, which united her and Gordon in their love of the sport for over 65 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; and 1 sister. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Woolley of Bellmead; daughters, Pamela Woolley of Bellmead, Patricia Yamada and husband, Earl of Castle Rock, CO and Lisa Matthews and husband, Jason of Bellmead; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be, Gordon Coble, Bill Lanoir, Steve Young, Terry Keenan, Dalton Coble, Robby Walters III and Jason Matthews.
