Anne Lee Perry Sapp, 90, of Waco passed away Monday, January 28 in Baytown, Texas. Services will be 11 am Saturday, February 2 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rusty Kwast officiating. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, February 2 at the funeral home before the service. Mrs. Sapp was born October 6, 1922 in Merryville, LA to Alford and Mary Perry. She moved from Livingston, TX to Waco in the early 1960's to begin work at the Methodist Home and retired in the 1980's. Anne had many talents including seamstress, painting, ceramics, porcelain dolls, crocheting, sewing beautiful quilts and decorating wedding cakes for friends and families. She was a gracious hostess and loved nothing better than to wait on her guests. She was a long time member of Northside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jesse Sapp; step son, Rick Sapp; grandson, Kevin Ballard; parents; and 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Johnny Ballard and wife, Geanie of Beach City; step daughter, Debbie Wood and husband, Richard of Belton; step son, Ron Sapp of Snyder; sisters, Iris Buford and Mary Watson; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; special nephew, Reggie Olson and wife, Mary of Waco; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Ballard, Kyle Ballard, Richard Wood, Greg Dunaway, Craig Hernandez and Dylan Ballard. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff of Swan Manor and Faith Community Hospice of Baytown for their tender loving care. Memorials may be made to Northside Church of Christ.
