He immigrated to Waco in 1963 leaving his family behind in search for a better life for his family. He was a hard working man, never afraid to take on new challenges. His first job in Waco was at El Charro Caf, but his passion was being a cement finisher. He was especially known for his specialty: washed rock/exposed pebble concrete work. Despite the hardships he went through, he never forgot what his goal was, to bring his family to Waco from Mexico. He accomplished this great task in 1966. He realized he had a spiritual need and therefore started to study the bible and got baptized in 1972 as a Jehovah's Witness. He was a loyal member of his congregation until his death. He is survived by his loving wife Guadalupe Vielma; his children Juan Vielma, Lupe v. Hernandez, Martin Vielma, Sandra L. Cowell, Angelica M. Estrada, Jesse Vielma, Rosa M. Ard, Apolonio Vielma Jr. and Sylvia C. Vielma. 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was greatly loved by his family and many friends, and will be missed dearly by all who await God's promises in Revelation 21:3,4 and john 5:28-29.
