Arlie Franklin Slack was born on September 14, 1974 and passed away on October 8, 2017. He was 43 years old.

He was born in Ennis, Texas and attended Scurry-Rosser schools. He also attended Texas A&M Commerce. Arlie loved country music, fishing and playing softball.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Slack, grandparents, Jay and Wanda Slack, and Billie J. Roath. Great grandparents, Arlie and Agnes McKenzie.

Arlie is survived by his mother, Linda Blain of Todd Mission, Texas, sister and her husband, Leah and Fred Williams of Waco, Texas, brother and his wife, Michael and Heather Soden of North Richland Hills, Texas. Grandfather, Cecil L. Roath of Waxahachie, Texas. Uncle Terry Slack and wife Marge of Ennis, Texas. Uncle Mike Slack of Scurry, Texas, aunts and uncles Kenny and Dona Blain of Waxahachie, Texas, Jaye Lea and Mike Marshall of Midlothian, Texas and Brenda Roath of Waxahachie, Texas. Numerous cousins that loved him dearly.

Arlie is loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
