Arther Darrell Hendrick, Sr., 82, of Waco, passed away February 20, 2015 at a local hospital. Services will be Tues. February 24, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating.Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, February 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. Arther was born in the Mount Calm area to Alvie Hendrick and Jewel Etheridge Hendrick. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He married Shirley Mae Rossi and later married Mary on June 16, 1982. He worked for Owens Illinois and Certain-Teed and loved old cars and motorcycles. He was a member of the Cushman Club and Mustang Club. Arther is survived by his wife, Mary Hendrick, sons, Arther Darrell Jr. and wife Linda of Alvarado, David Hendrick and wife Brenda of Lacy Lakeview; daughter Barbara Ann Blanco and husband Jesse of Lacy Lakeview; stepsons John E. French of Hallsburg, David L. French and wife Betty of Wharton; stepdaughter, Deborah Tosh of Lacy Lakeview; sisters, Joyce Brannon and husband Ervin of Pasadena, Texas and Unis Owens of Ft. Worth; 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Arther was preceded in death by his brother, Luther Hendrick. Pallbearers will be David Hendrick, David Ryan Hendrick, Jesse Blanco, Colton Blanco, Joshua Hendrick, John French and Arther Darrell Hendrick III.
