Billy E. Tindell, 63, of Waco, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at a local hospital. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 16 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Cobb officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at the funeral home. Billy cannot be summed up into mere words. He was a man that made loving him easy. He loved his children and grandchildren very much as well as his brothers, sisters and his most precious momma, Rosie Tindell. Billy loved his Savior Jesus Christ and held onto his faith and that is what gave him peace. He accepted Christ into his life on August 31, 1997 and faith never failed him. He became Deacon of New Hope Baptist Church on November 17, 2002 and will be remembered by his family, friends and church family as a true man of God. Billy was preceded in death by his dad, Roy E. Tindell, and his little sister, Martha Eaton. Billy leaves behind his devoted wife, Nora, of 34 years. They shared a love so great that only a fairytale could compare. He also leaves behind his children, Cindy Webre and husband Kenneth, Chris Tindell and wife Mandy, and Jeremy Tindell his "big" baby boy. His 7 "Grandboys," as he called them, Keith, Kolby, Kory, Gavin, Gage, Leighton and Keiton that will miss their PaPaw dearly. Billy was so blessed to have his beautiful huge family. His 5 sisters, Gloria Schilling and husband John, Sally Dunn and husband Maurice, Patsy Buckner and husband Ricky, Cathy Beltran and husband Abe, Vivian Suitt and husband Jackie. Three brothers, Jerry Tindell and wife Nancy, Roy Tindell and wife Sandra, Johnny Tindell and wife Barbara and more aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends than you can count. Roy Tindell, Jr, Billy Eaton, Jr., Chester Singleton, Dennis Bagby, Mike Forbis and Gage Perkins will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being set up for Billy's family to help with expenses.
