Bobbie Keith Branch, 72, of Bellmead went to be with his Lord, with family near on April 19. Graveside services will be 2 pm Thursday April 22 at Fort Parker Cemetery near Groesbeck with Rev. Tom McCollister officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday April 21 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Bobbie was born March 19, 1938 in Bellmead to Odis Earl and Callie Ocie (Marsh) Branch and graduated from LaVega High School in 1957. He married his high school sweetheart Elizabeth McCarter on April 21, 1958 in Bellmead and they lived on his parents home place for 52 years. Bobbie was a truck driver for Missouri/Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years, was a member of Bellmead Masonic Lodge # 1329, was an active Teamster and member of Timber Crest Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working on tractors, farming, tending to his animals and long drives in the country. Late in his life he took up painting. Survivors include his wife Beth, sons D C and wife Cindy of Bellmead and Link and wife Heather of Hewitt; daughter Dawn of Lacy Lakeview; his mother-in-law Lucille Culverhouse of Bellmead; grandchildren Amber Maples, Griffen, Greyson, Gattlin and Marleigh Branch; great granddaughter Raeanna Navarra and many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to all the Nurses with Providence Hospice for their care and support and Hillcrest and Providence CHF Clinic's who assisted with his care.
