Bonnie Wain Branch

Bonnie Wain Branch, age 94, of Bellmead, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at White Rock Cemetery near Ross, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 4, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Bonnie was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Frank and Nettie (Miller) Hord. She began working at a young age to help support her parents. Later, she married and became a devoted homemaker and loving mother who always put her family first, offering them unwavering love and support. Bonnie had a kind heart and found joy in the simple things, including crocheting, gardening, camping, traveling, and, most of all, cherishing family gatherings. She had a natural ability to manage a large family while running the household with precision. Her cooking was nothing short of amazing, as she loved preparing family meals. After she and her husband retired, they stayed busy caring for the Heart of Texas soccer fields and running a local fireworks business.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Branch; her daughter, Debra Strahl; her son, William Branch; her brothers, Jimmy Hord and Dr. Larry Dean Hord; her sisters, Margie Looney and Frankie Kirkes; and her granddaughter, Lisa.

Bonnie’s legacy lives on through her sons: Joe Branch and his wife Brenda, Danny Branch and Joy, and John Branch and his wife Jodi. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Candy Branch; seven grandchildren: Doug, Kelli, Chris, Ali, Justin, Tyler, and Kali; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends, all of whom will continue to carry her memories with love.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

One of her favorite sayings was, "Just let it go." Now, she has truly let it go, free from any pain, and we take comfort in knowing she is in a better place.
