Christine Yvonne Caballero was born during a blizzard in Portales, New Mexico the evening of January 24, 1978. She answered her Lord and Savior's call to come home just before midnight July 6, 2023. She fought a valiant fight against heart disease and ultimately found her victory in heaven, not on earth.
She leaves behind her father. Bruce Sampson, Mother Carolyn Casey and Step-Father Gary Casey.
One Daughter -Cynthia Sampson and Husband Alex Parker. 2 Grandchildren AllisonJane Florence Parker and Xander Dale Parker.
Two sons: Christopher Caballero and wife Octavia, and Ezekiel Schavrien.
Two brothers: Richard Sampson and wife April, Matthew Sampson and wife Amanda.
One sister - Sarah Wyatt and husband Jerod.
5 nieces and 5 nephews - who knew her as Aunt Fluff - she picked her own Auntie name.
A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and children who adopted her as their second mother.
Christine was preceded in death by: her brother Glenn Dunn, Paternal grandparents -Dale and Florence Sampson, Maternal grandparents Robert and Barbara Johnson and Darrel Howard.
She graduated from Connally High School in 1996, and later found her true calling as a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating from McLennan Community College with high honors and a 4.0 average. She was working with her precious elderly people at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehab in Ennis, Tx. until her death.
Christi accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior early in life and spent the rest of her life building a relationship with him and telling others about her Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
