Clara Belle Hayman Wilson Cole a lifelong resident of Lacy-Lakeview was called home peacefully by our Lord and Savior on November 16, 2011. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 22 at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Neely Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 21 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Clara was born December 17, 1925 in Waco to Richard L. and Eula Mable (Bartley) Hayman. Her 85 years were filled with the love for God and her family and friends. Clara's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life and she cherished the time spent, being involved in all their activities. She graduated from Waco High School and went to work for Southwestern Bell as a PBX operator. She also worked and retired from American Income Life Insurance Co. where she organized blood drives while volunteering for the American Red Cross. After retirement, she worked as an aide at Connally I.S.D. where she cherished the time reading and helping the Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st graders with their work. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Beverley Wilson and Raymond Cole; sisters, Dorothy Topol and Mary Herlinger; and brother, Lawrence Hayman. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Robinson of Waco; son, Jerry Wilson and wife Cathey of Spring; sister, Martha Tatum and husband Don of Waco; sister, Addie Faye Warner of N.H., 4 grandchildren, Jerry Robinson of Arkansas, Carey Robinson of Waco, Cyndi Wilson and Becca Wilson both of Spring, 2 great-grandchildren, Katie and Andrew Robinson of Waco. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lakeview United Methodist Church or Providence Hospice.
