Clarence C. Norman, 87, of Lacy Lakeview, went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, Feb. 27 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Antioch Cemetery near Mt. Calm, Texas. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Thursday, Feb 26 at the funeral home. Clarence was born November 6, 1927 in Birome, Texas to J.D. and Pearl (Sealey) Norman. He served in the Army during WWII where he was stationed in Alaska for 3 years. After returning home, Clarence met the love of his life, Wanda Janell Wood and they were married March 16, 1951. He was a home builder in the Waco area for many years and he and Wanda enjoyed camping, fishing and road trips throughout the US. He was a member of Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Loyd Norman. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Wanda Norman of Lacy Lakeview; his children, Danny Norman of Hewitt, Tommy Norman and wife, Karen of McGregor and Linda Simonson and husband, John of Maypearl; his dearest niece and nephews that he loved as if they were his own children, Hollie Sue Schoolcraft and husband, Charles, Tom Sweeney and wife Kim and Mike Sweeney all of West Virginia; his sister, Margaret Smith of Hewitt; his brother, B. T. Norman and wife Lois of Dallas; his sister-in-law, Loreda Norman of Bellmead; grandchildren, Cheri Walton and husband, James, Joseph Norman, Tory Norman and wife Sabrina, Samantha Jasch and husband Michael, Sarah Simonson, Shelby Simonson and Tyler Norman; great-grandchildren, Seth, Ethan, Ryan, Caden, Noah, Colton, Marc and Joshua; and many dear nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tory Norman, Tyler Norman, Michael Jasch, Seth Walton, James Walton, Sean Helster and Tyler Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class at Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church . Memorial donations may be made to The Visiting Angels.
