Dan Rogers, 58,of Robinson passed away Wednesday, July 15 at his residence.Services will be 130 pm Saturday July 18 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ivan Kerr officiating. Burial will be at Riesel Cemetery.Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday July 17 at the Funeral Home. Dan was born May 18, 1951 in Waco to Dewey and Dolly (Long) Rogers. He graduated from LaVega High School in 1969 and began working at Mrs. Bairds Bakery where he worked for 17 years. He married Judy Autrey May 14, 1971 and they spent 38 wonderful years together. He was employed at Uncle Dan's Barbeque and has worked for the Dallas Morning News for over 20 years. an was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church. He was a wonderful caring man who loved and adored his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, a daughter Melissa Rogers, his grandparents and an infant brother Dewayne Rogers. Survivors include his Wife Judy Rogers of Robinson, Father and Stepmother, Dewey and Helen Rogers of Waco, Son, Brian Nolan Rogers of Robinson, Sister Denise Bennett of Louisiana, Brother Don Rogers of Austin, 1 stepbrother, Paul Gaskamp and wife Linda of Tennessee, 2 stepsisters, Linda Souders and husband Dennis of Leroy, Kathy Downey and husband Jack of San Angelo. Many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be, Brad Young, Ryan Young, Gene Dirks, Bill Rutherford, Darrell White , Rodney Powell, Kevin Phillips, Archie Perrie
