Debra Kay Kubitza, 56, of Waco, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her home in Waco, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m , Wednesday, October 13, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel in Bellmead, Texas, with Monsignor Isadore Rozicki officiating. Burial will follow at Pavelka Cemetery in Elk. Visitation will be at 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 12, at the Funeral Home. Debra was born September 11, 1954 in Temple, Texas to Samuel and Wanda (Guess) Frazier. She grew up in Longview, Texas and graduated from Licensed Vocational Nursing School in Marlin, Texas in August of 1972. She married Fred E. Kubitza, Jr. on August 5, 1983 in Waco. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk, SPJST Lodge #35, and Catholic Life. Debra worked for many years for the Family Practice Clinic in Waco and Dr. Homayun Seirafi. She was currently the nurse at Sul Ross Elementary School. Debra was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Through her work, family and friends, Debra touched many lives and cherished every memory. Giving to and doing for others brought great joy to Debra's life. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Fred of Waco, son Jeffery Frazier and wife Beth of Aurora, New York; daughters Jessica Hoffman and husband Chris of Buffalo, and Lisa Lewis and husband Jerrell of Lorena; brother Samuel Frazier and wife Jaci of Alpine; sisters Sherri Williams and husband Travis of Marlin, and Bobbie Coley and husband Jim of Kyle; grandchildren Sydney, Samantha, Allison, Maci, Brett, Marshall, Kacy Ray, Augusta and Brody; and numerous nieces and nephews and close and loving friends. Memorials may be made to the Hallsburg Volunteer Fire Department or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
