Dick Carver, 68, of Robinson, TX, went Home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 19, peacefully in his sleep from his home. There will be a public visitation held Wednesday May 26th 6-8 pm at Bellmead Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday May 27 at 11am at Waco Memorial Park with his son Rev. Jason Carver officiating. The family encourages those who are attending the visitation or the graveside service to come wearing their favorite Baylor Shirt in honor of Dick's love for Baylor sports.
Dick was an incredible husband, dad, grandfather, friend, and Baylor fan. He married Bobbi Carver in 1972 and had three sons, Christopher, Grant, and Jason. Dick worked at Baylor University at the Energy Plant for over 20 years until his retirement. He loved the Lord, Boy Scouts (he was an Eagle Scout), Baylor sports, and his family with all his heart, and in his passing he reunites with his wife, Bobbi, their first son Christopher, his twin brother David, and his brother Maurice.
Dick is survived by his sons, Grant and Jason, and their wives Krista and Christine, granddaughters Abby and Sydney, and friends and family.
Dick was loving and generous to everyone he was around, and we will greatly miss him until we see him again.
