In Loving Memory of Donald Steinke

A devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend, Donald passed away on October 5, 2024, leaving behind a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Finding peace and joy in being outdoors, he loved caring for his trees and birds, watching his boys play sports, and keeping the fire department on their toes by accidentally lighting everything on fire.

Born to Lloyd and Mildred Steinke on January 1, 1966, in Waco, Texas, Donald dedicated his life to always providing for his family. Married on January 6, 1990, to his wife Suzy Sandhoff, together they raised four boys, 15 dogs, 40 peacocks, and a deer named Rudy.

One of the greatest joys of his life was the bond he shared with his twin brother. Their relationship was filled with endless laughter and a connection that only twins can understand. They were always the life of the party and played many pranks on those who couldn't tell them apart, including his wife Suzy.
