Edna Frances Sharp, 91, of Waco, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. Services will be 10 am Saturday, Jan. 24 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday, Jan. 23 at the funeral home. Edna was born April 21, 1923 in Praha, Texas to Anton and Lillie Pavlas. She was a homemaker, a longtime member of Oak Lawn Baptist Church and was a member of the Sam's Travel Club. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert "Red" Sharp on Dec. 22, 2004; her sisters, Maxine Bonge and Esther Vrana; and brother, Freddie Pavlas. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Pustejovsky and husband, Pat of Houston; her son, Dennis Sharp and wife, Brenda of Cuero; her sister, Dorothy Zahirniak of West; her brother-in-law, Herb Bonge of Clifton; 5 grandchildren, Shelley, Shawn, Michelle, Heather and Scott; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Shawn Sharp, Alan Corley, Ron Bonge, Chris Brown, Scott Pustejovsky, Michael Young, Clayton Young and Michael Swartz. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Tyler Young and Chris Hunter. The family would like to express a special thank you, to Edna's niece, Barbara, her brother-in-law, Herb Bonge and everyone at Hillcrest for their care and support.
