Elizabeth J. Templeton, went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 27 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the funeral home with Bro. Charles Howard and James Tremar officiating. Elizabeth lived a long and full life. She managed to raise eight children virtually alone, but she managed to teach them a strong work ethic and a love of God. Elizabeth was born to Milton and Laura (Riley) Griffin in Friendship, Crockett County Tennessee the eldest of three children. She worked hard all her life until her health forced her to retire. She was preceded death by her parents; a daughter, Brenda Giudice; an infant son; two infant grandsons, Joey Griffin and Steven Baker; and brother-in-law, Richard Stone. She is survivors by a brother, Charles Griffin and wife, Donna of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; a sister, Iona Jean Stone of Paragould, Arkansas; sons, James Russell and wife, Shirley of Chalk Bluff, Ben Moore and wife Nancy of Waco, Harold Alexander of Cullman, Alabama; her daughters, Kay Tremar and husband James of Chalk Bluff, Alma Baker and husband Jerry of Malakoff, Texas and Sandra Muccheon and husband John of Bellmead; several grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; as well as several great-great grandchildren; and great-great-great grandchildren.
