She was born January 12, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Reubin and Myrtle (Callaway) Waldrop.
She earned her LVN nursing licenses in1963 and worked at several facilities around Waco and retired in November, 1996 from Scott & White Clinic in Bellmead, Texas. She was a Catholic and loved reading and most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Edward C. Gervais Sr.; her son, John R. Gervais; and her brother, Doyle Waldrop.
Survivors include her children, Edward C. Gervais Jr. and his wife, Beverly, Glenda D. Baughman, Teresa L. Baughman, and her husband, Jim, Cecelia Gervais and Dana E. Strauch and her husband, Louis; her sister, Nelma Darlene Kasbcek; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
