Ethridge O'Daniel Boyett, 85 of Bellmead, TX passed away peacefully at his home on 1/21/2022 surrounded by his adoring family.

Ethridge ''Huckle'' Boyett also known to many as Danny was born 8/5/1936, in Waco, TX to Viola Howard and Issiac Boyett. He attended Waco public schools and enlisted in the Army National Guard as a young adult.

Ethridge married his lifelong partner Esther Blanco April 4th, 1961, in Houston, TX. Mr. Boyett was an accomplished boxer growing up, having won multiple titles including the well-known Golden Gloves.

Mr. Boyett was an avid outdoorsman often spending his time at various Rodeos across the state, breaking horses for show, he also enjoyed riding his own bucking horses. In addition, Mr. Boyett traveled for many years across the Nation rising and training racing Greyhounds with his sons in which he received National Recognition due to his proficient handling.

Ethridge is proceeded in death by his mother Viola, father Issiac and sisters Jewell, Almeda and Nadine. Brothers Issiac (Junior), John (Johnny) and Herbert (Herbie) as well as his son, Daniel (Danny).

Ethridge is survived by his children Danny ''Butch'' Boyett and Wife, Debra of Detroit, TX. Tony Boyett and wife Charlotte of Avery, TX. Linda Stanton and husband Pete of Moody, TX. Sprad ''Skipper'' Boyett and wife Beth of Mt. Union, PA, Tammy Golub of Elm Mott, TX. Ethridge ''Ritchie'' Boyett and wife Mary of Bellmead, TX. Shannon Owens and husband James of Groesbeck, Texas. William ''Willie'' Boyett and wife Debbie of Newark, TX. Shawn Boyett and wife Felicia of Gholson, TX. Lifelong companion Esther Boyett of Gholson, TX and friend Mona White of Mart, TX. 31 grandchildren, 32 Great-grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Children.
Gravesides services for Mr. Boyett will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Rosemond Cemetery in Waco, TX.
The family would like to thank Texas Home Health Hospice and nurse Tammy for their exceptional care in the final weeks of Mr. Boyett's life.
