Eva Geneva Jones, 74, of Bellmead passed away Thursday, June 13 at her residence. Services will be 2 pm Sunday, June 16 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Irena Viajnie officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery near Aquilla. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Saturday, June 15 at the funeral home. Eva was born May 16, 1939 in Itasca, Texas to Raymond and Geneva (Rhodes) Coffman. In 1955 she met Harvey Jones in a caf� in Hillsboro, Texas. They fell deeply in love and married July 2, 1955. She accompanied Harvey in the Air Force, traveling all over the World. While in Newfoundland they started their family with the birth of Bill Jones. Before leaving there, Eva became pregnant with Anita. She devoted her life to her children and spent all her time taking good care of them. Eva worked at Levi Strauss until 1980 and moved to Waco and went to work for Dana Return Center until retiring in 1995. She enjoyed doing ceramics, sewing, quilting and taking as many pictures as she could. She loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cared for her beloved dogs, Sheba and Pepper. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary Ketcher. Survivors include the love of her life, Harvey Jones of Bellmead; daughter, Anita Baker and husband, Charles of Bellmead; son Bill Jones of Bellmead; sisters, Sharon Kellum and husband, Riley of Bellmead and Susan May and husband, John of Lacy Lakeview; brothers Raymond Coffman and wife, Carol of Bellmead and Jimmy Coffman and wife, Betty of Peoria; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Justin and Cody Jones, Tyler Baker, Kevin Keller, Cody Stone and Jayden Rivera. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
