Fannie Jean Elliston Hahmann, age 82, passed away September 2, 2015 in Groesbeck, Texas. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Union Cemetery , FM 935 near Durango. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fannie was born May 23, 1933 in McLennan County, Texas to Walter D. Miller, Sr. and Ethel Mildred (Sedberry) Miller. She married Henry Elliston in 1949 and later married Henry Hahmann and both preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter D. Miller, Jr. and James R. Miller; sister, Shirley J. Kirk and Martha L. Bishop. She worked as a cashier at the 18th and Austin Ave. HEB and the Wooded Acres HEB, retiring after 35 years.

She is survived by her sister, Zaratha E. Taylor and husband, Larry of Mesquite; brothers, Boyd A. Miller and wife, Barbara of Mexia, Rev. Donald S. Miller and wife, Elise Lynn of Waco; Charles D. Miller of Waxahachie and Leslie Miller and wife, Melva of Mexia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Windsor Manor Nursing Center and Southern Care Hospice for their care.
