Frank Losak, 94, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 23 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 am prior to service at the church. Frank was born on April 14, 1921 to Fred and Annie (Soukup) Losak in West, Texas. In 1941 he married the love of his life, Lillian Makovy. This year they celebrated 74 years of marriage. Frank was devoted to his family, his job, his church and his friends. He enjoyed working at Central Forwarding for 64 years and made many friends there and in the "moving" world. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead. Over the years he enjoyed fishing, dancing, genealogy, and traveling to the Czech Republic. He was proud of his Czech heritage and loved sharing stories of his life and travels with family and friends. His insight, wisdom and humor will be missed by those fortunate to have known him.He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Marek; and son in law, Fred Shaw. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lillian; his three children, Mary Ann Shaw of Corpus Christi, Bill Losak and wife, Cindy of Lancaster and Freddy Losak and wife, Donna of Bellmead; nine grandchildren, Fred Shaw, Scott Shaw and his wife, Callie , Sarah Ridge and husband, Cliff, Brian Losak, Lauren Losak, Rachel Losak, Dustin Losak and his wife, Misty, Brent Losak and Kaitlyn Losak. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including special and devoted nephew, Johnnie Marek. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Fred and Scott Shaw, Dustin, Brian and Brent Losak and nephew Johnnie Marek. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 501 W.
