Fred Reinke, 87, of Waco, passed away Saturday October 9, 2010 at a local nursing home. Services will be 11 am Monday, October 11 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Boeche officiating. Military burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 pm Sunday, Oct. 10 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Fred was born September 28, 1923 in Malone, Texas to William A. and Hulda (Kelm) Reinke. He served in the Marines during WWII and married Frances Louise Brown on October 19, 1946. He retired from Lone Star Gas Co. after 34 years of services and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters: Ella Mae Hardeman, Hilbert Reinke, Gertrude Piel, Victor Reinke and Mildred Brodowski. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Frances Reinke of Waco; daughter Deborah Slaughter and husband Jim of Brownsboro; sons William "Tom" Reinke and wife Caroline of Montgomery and David Reinke and wife Deena Wright of Hewitt; sisters Tincey Fricke of Lorena and Anna Dutschmann of Bellmead; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
