Glen Edward Dysinger, 60, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Antioch Community Church with Danny Mulkey officiating. Glen was born July 31, 1956 in England to George and Greta (Poston) Dysinger. He married Sherri Evans on September 13, 1980 in Waco and earned his Food Service/Culinary Arts Degree from Texas State Technical College. Glen worked in food service as a supervisor at Hillcrest Hospital Cafeteria and as a manager at the family restaurant in the Waco V.A. Regional Office. He enjoyed cooking, watching movies, DIY, spending time with family and playing with his dog Ebbe. Glen was a member of Antioch Community Church where he loved transporting people to and from their cars in the golf cart and he took great pride in being a Lifegroup leader. He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Sherri; his children, Wayne and his wife, Lisa, Shaun and his wife, Zorida, Nathan, Hannah and Mary; his grandchildren who affectionally called him Hapa , Shaun Jr., Kathryn, Marissa, Cheyenne and Gavin; his mother, Greta Boales and her husband, Shorty; his mother-in-law, Beverly Evans; his sisters, Margaret and her husband, Steve and Janice Putska and her husband, Jeff; his brother, George Dysinger; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws; and his beloved pet, Ebbe.
