Kaye LaFon Solomon, 67, of Waco passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at her residence. Services will be 10 am Friday, October 17 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel, 809 LaClede St. in Bellmead with Rev. Terry Wilkerson of Oak Lawn Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday, October 16 at the funeral home. Kaye was born September 14, 1941 in Union Hill, TX the daughter of Ora Lee and Raymond LaFon. She graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida in 1960. She retired from the Bell County Tax Appraisal District in April 2004, was a member of Oak Lawn Baptist Church and was President Elect of the Garden Forum Garden Club. Her father preceded her in death on October 9, 2008. Survivors include her mother, Ora Lee LaFon, sister, D.J. "Jill" LaFon brother, Dayle LaFon,nephews, Don Lafon and wife Kim, and Darin LaFon and wife Francine and their son Jaden and one honorary nephew Damon Marks Pallbearers will be her cousins, Pat Atkins, Robin Bolin, Jacob Wollard,Warren Garner, Wesley Bolin and Josh Wollard.
