Hubert Herman Reinke, age 92, of Elm Mott, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016. After a private family burial, Hubert's Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1301 Hogan Lane, with Rev. Larry Krueger officiating. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 4th at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Mr. Reinke was born April 3, 1924 in Malone, Texas to Carl and Emma (Krueger) Reinke. He attended Malone schools. He served in the United States Army in World War II, European Theater of Operations, 300th Combat Engineer Battalion. He moved to Bellmead in 1947. Hubert was married to Florine Drews in 1951. They moved to the Elm Mott area in 1984. Hubert was employed at General Tire until 1963 when he became a partner in Bellmead Radiator Shop, retiring in 1986. He was a charter member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter Reinke; sisters, Lydia Kennedy and Edna Adler.
He is survived by his wife, Florine Reinke; sons, Steven Reinke and wife, Melanie and Douglas Reinke and wife, Patty; daughter, Sharon Lassetter and husband, Allen; Nine grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren.
