James Clinton Ray, age 70, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at his home. Graveside services will be held 10 a. m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Rosemound Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7th at Bellmead Funeral Home.
James was born October 17, 1945 in Waco, the son of Johnny Clinton and Gracie Lee (Wills) Ray. He married Shirley Charanza April 14, 1972. James was a heavy equipment operator and retired from Mine Service, Inc. in 2015.
James is preceded in death by his parents,; brothers, Robert Ray and Enoch Ray; sister, Linda McCormick.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ray; sisters and brothers in law, Judy and Johnny Wills, Dorothy and Frank Ingram, Connie Holder and Patricia Ray; brothers and sister in law, Richard and Debbie Ray and Bobby Ray; brother in law, Andy McCormick; brother in law and sister in law, Allen and Karen Charanza; sister in law and brother in law, Sandra and Curtis Webb; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
