Sewell Terry, 74, of Laguna Park, passed away Sunday, August 5, in Clifton. Services will be 10 am Thursday, August 9 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with James McDonald officiating. Burial will be at Coon Creek Cemetery near West. Sewell was born February 12, 1938 in Oglesby, Texas to James F. and Thelma (McMullin) Terry. He married Betty Sue Harp on August 30, 1957. He was a machinist and retired from CCAD in Corpus Christi and M&M Mars in Waco. Sewell was a Master Mason at Delmar Lodge #1350 in Corpus Christi. He enjoyed softball and pitching horseshoes and washers for the Senior Olympics. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Terry of Laguna Park; daughter, Terry Sue Bunch and husband, David of Port Lavaca; sons, James Terry and wife, Rhonda of Laguna Park and Mark Terry of Phoenix; sister, Jeffrie Norwood and husband, Charles of McGregor; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
