Janice "Judy" Slough, 88, of Waco formerly of Pasadena, Texas passed away Monday, in Waco. Services will be 11 am Friday, March 1 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Scott officiating. Burial will be at Axtell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday, Feb. 28 at the funeral home. Judy was born in Cooper, Texas to S. E. and Dorthulia (Strongfellow) Walker. She was a 50 year member of Parkwood Methodist Church in Pasadena and was a devoted Christian, always giving to family, friends and anyone the Lord put in her path. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Allen Slough in 2006; 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ralph Slough of Waco; 1 daughter, Beverly (Slough) New and husband Joel of Waco; grandchildren, Brett New and wife, Karianne of Waco and Rebecca (New) Boyko and husband, Brent of Waco; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander New and Titus Allen Boyko; niece, Floynell Gale of Colorado City, Texas and many other nieces and nephews.
