Jeannette Y. Stovall, 80, of Waco passed away at her home and entered her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, September 14th, 2015 at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Zucha and Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 13th at the funeral home.
Jeannette was born March 10, 1935 in Waco, Texas to Marvin and Virginia Taylor. She married Walter Stovall on August 9, 1952. The couple had two children, Terri Smiley and Ross Stovall, both of Waco. She retired from General Tire and then worked for Texas Greyhound Association before working 14 years with her son at the Stovall Insurance Agency. The joy and light of her life was her family and the closeness she had with each one. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, the love of her life.She is survivied by her daughter, Terri Smiley; son, Ross Stovall; grandchildren, Lauren Edwards and husband, Justin, Lindsey Roy, Taylor Stovall and Alex Stovall; great grandchildren, Dylan Roy, Hunter Edwards and Holten Edwards. They were the light of her life and she told them all how much she loved them. She is also survived by other special family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ken Lomenzo, Mike Montgomery, Dub Cunningham, Jeff Gilbert, John Bull and Edward Hays.
The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Ken Lomenzo for the care and friendship he gave Jeannette. They also thank Texas Home Health Hospice, especially Katrina, Brandy, Candice and Kelsey. Dr Lomenzo will hold a special place in the family's heart for the extra mile he went and the compassion he showed.To our precious Mom and Nana:

Our love for you is great and we give God all the praise for giving you to us. We will always have your words of wisdom and love that you instilled in us.
