Jerry Wayne McHalland, 21, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Monday, May 30 at the funeral home.

Jerry was born March 31, 1995 in Waco, Texas, he graduated from La Vega High School in 2014 where he played football and enjoyed basketball. He loved his son Brayden with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Nowlin and an uncle, David Nowlin.

Survivors include his parents, Lee and Lori McHalland; his birth father, Joe Rodriquez and wife, Janice; grandmothers, Vivian Nowlin and Mary Jane Gonzalez; his son, Brayden McHalland and his mother, Ashley Kinsey; his sister, Shila Campbell and husband, Nick; brothers, Chris Keel and wife, Tina, Dustin Keel and wife Tiffany and Kevorey Frost; and many aunts and uncles; and several nieces and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Dae Dae Hughes, Chris Keel, Jeremy Mackey, Dustin Keel, Colton Nowlin and Colton Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevorey Frost, Rodrick Iglehart and Brandon Lammak.
