Johnnie Ruth Hennig, 77, of Lorena, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at her residence after a long battle with lung disease and breast cancer. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27th at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with A. C. Painter officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 26 at the funeral home. Johnnie was born in Gatesville to John Stephen and Alma (Tow) January. Johnnie was past member of Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church, also passed employee of Lochridge-Priest Heating and Air and Heating Conditioning for over 30 years and the Son of Herman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hennig in 2000; her parents; and brother Kenneth January. Survivors include her sons, Steven Hennig and wife Debbie of Waco and Gary Hennig and wife Sherri of Lorena; sister, Patsy Hoffman and husband Jack of Speegleville; brother, Jack January and wife Gloria of Palestine; six grandchildren; Michael and wife Sara, Melissa and husband J. D. Jaster, Matthew, Brad, Shane and Shelby; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner; Step-grandchildren, Amy and husband Rodney Hill, Children, Ethan and Hannah, Vclint and wife, Sheryl Adams, children, Colton, Corbin and Chloe. Several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Michael Hennig, Matthew Hennig, Brad Hennig, Shane Hennig, Shelby Hennig and J.D. Jaster.
