Joyce Briggs Nichols, 60, of Bosqueville, passed away quietly at home, Friday, April 29,2016. A Memorial Visitation will be held 5pm-7pm, Friday, May 6th, at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Joyce was born June 22,1955, the daughter of Jesse Lee Briggs and Wilma (Cepak) Briggs of Bellmead. She attended La Vega High School, and was a graduate of Waco Cosmetology School. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and a former volunteer at Geneva Hall. Joyce enjoyed painting ceramics; creating flower arrangements for family weddings, anniversaries, and baby showers; reading Danielle Steele and memoirs; and watching NASCAR and drag racing.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include Bobby Nichols of Bosqueville, daughter Lisa (Chudej) Prellop and her husband Jason, sister Janice Lancaster and her husband Donnie, grandson Milo Prellop, Mother-in-Law, Donna Nichols, several nieces, nephews, cousins, loving relatives, and friends. She will also be missed by three very special family members: Scruffy, Bandit, and her beloved Inkie.
