Kenneth Karl "Butch" Kellough, Sr, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009, in Houston, Tx. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27 at 1:00 at the Bellmead Funeral Home. A reception at the Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church will immediately follow the service. He was born in Waco, Tx, on October 10, 1940, to Jim H & Tennie B (Lillard) Kellough. He was the youngest of six children. Ken attended LaVega Schools grades 1-12 & graduated in the class of '59. He graduated from Baylor University in 1963 with a BA in Business. He was a former member of the Bellmead Volunteer Fire Dept, the Bellmead Jaycees and the Bellmead Lions Club. After graduation from Baylor he began a 22 year career with Associates Financial Services, spending 12 of those years in Colorado. He returned to Texas in 1986 to work in the banking industry in College Station and Waco. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother. He is survived by his son Kenneth Karl Kellough, Jr and wife Patricia of Trophy Club, Tx daughter Jennifer Joyce Mace and husband Brett of Houston. His grandchildren are Gavin James Kellough & Clare Elizabeth Kellough. He is also survived by the mother of his children Peggy Broderick Kellough, sister in law Beverly Lee and husband Mickey of New Braunfels and their son Ryan and daughter Bonnie, numerous nieces & nephews - Paula Meador Brehm and husband John of Burleson, Fred Brown & wife Jane of Waco, Paul Brown and wife Jennifer of Lakewood Village, Tx, Johnnie Kellough and wife Pam of Waco, Jim Kellough, Jere Don Kellough, and Robyn Mocek and husband Randy of Waco. He leaves behind lifelong friends in both Colorado and Texas.
