Ken grew up in Killeen, Texas until he joined the Marine Corps at age of 17. He honorably served his country for 4 years, including a tour in Vietnam. After his military service, Ken worked at the V.A. hospital in Waco, where he served other veterans until his retirement.
Ken was a man of God who loved and served his fellow man. He was a story teller with a delightful sense of humor.
Ken married the love of his life, Doris Holt Weaver, and they were blessed with 46 years together that were filled with love and adventure.
Ken had a charitable heart and he and Doris supported many charities, most of which benefitted veterans, children, and animals. He was known to take toys and candy to area nursing homes for bingo prizes. Ken was preceded in death by his beloved Doris and his parents, James and Helen Weaver.
Ken leaves behind friends who had become family.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 12th, at 12:30 at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, TX.
