Lillian Doris Woodruff, 91, of Bellmead, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Memorial services will be 1:30 pm Monday, April 6, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Rick Aguilar officiating. Lillian was born March 5, 1924 in Weston, Missouri to Roy and Nina (Harris) Pepper. She married Estill Woodruff in November 1947. They traveled the World together while in the military and finally settled in the Bellmead area. Lillian was a homemaker and loved cooking, gardening, shopping and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, James Nelson; and 2 brothers, Donald and Edwin Pepper. Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Stumpf and husband, Ken of Waco and Carol Thomas of Waco; her sister, Nadine Stalder of Missouri; granddaughters, Desiree Grabs and fianc� Gabe Ramirez of Waco and Michelle Michalek and husband Frank of Waco; great-grandson, Dylan Grabs of Waco; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. The family would like to express a special thank you to Senior Care Center of Hewitt, Gentiva Hospice, Friends for Life, the Bellmead Fire Department and the Bellmead Police Department for their care and support.
