Linda Kay Wellman

Linda Kay Wellman of Lacy Lakeview, 73 went home to her Lord on August fifth.

Service will be held Friday, August 9th at 10 AM at St Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead, Pastor Brian Hesse officiating. Burial will be at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday August 8th at Bellmead Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.

Mrs. Wellman was born November 15, 1950 in San Angelo Texas. She married the love of her life Wayne Wellman, who has proceeded her in death, on July 31, 1975.

Survivors include Jeanette Shell of Lacy, Lakeview, John and Mindy Wellman of Leander, grandchildren, Joshua Wellman, Stephan Shell, Aaron Shell, Bryanna Shell, Chloe Wellman and Makenzie Wellman.

Mother Clara Harris of Bellmead, sister, Alice McCabe and husband Roger of Woodway, brothers Tom Harris of Fort Worth and Kevin Harris and wife Sherri of Robinson, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Linda was an active member of Saint Paul for 46 years enjoying her weekly Bible studies and LWML activities. She deeply loved numerous friends who became family there.

She loved baking, but even more so she loved to share with others her sweet confections.

She also loved her weekly get together with her mom and sister to play table games and go for outings.

Linda is remembered most for her kind heart and how sweet she was. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
