Lornze Kluck 87 of Waco passed away Tuesday March 2 at a local nursing home. Services will be 2 pm Friday March 5 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Walter Albers and Pastor Joel Boesche officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday March 4 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Lornze was born February 27, 1923 in Otto, Texas to Otto A. and Elsie (Berg) Kluck. He grew up in Falls County until moving to West in 1939. He served with the Army in the Pacific during WWII and returned home and married Lennora Brinkmann on November 9, 1946. He worked for the City of Waco Water Department until retiring in February 1987. Lornze was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Johnny and a sister Victoria. Survivors include his wife Lennora Kluck of Waco, daughters Rose Jenkins of S. Carolina and Mildred Leuschner of Hewitt; son Otto Lornze Kluck of McAllen; brother Henry Kluck of Waco, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kraig Kluck, Clifton Jenkins, Lance Leuschner, Noel Lopea, Tim Mann and Harry Kluck. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church and St. Catherine Center.
