Lucille Pick Poston, 92, of Bellmead, entered her heavenly home in the company of her loving Savior on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 15, at Riesel City Cemetery, Hwy 6 South, Riesel. Family will receive visitors 'come-and-go' from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 14, at Bellmead Funeral Home, 809 La Clede St., Waco. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Lucille was born on June 25, 1928, in Perry, Texas, the daughter of William and Alma Pick. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Riesel, Texas, and grew up in Waco. During her early career, she worked at Owens Illinois Glass Plant.

She married the love of her life, William "Bill" Poston, on August 23, 1955. Lucille took on the role of army wife, accompanying Bill to the many places where he was stationed. No matter where they lived, whether in the U.S. or Germany, Lucille made fast friends and found joy and excitement in her surroundings.

After Bill's army career, the couple settled in Bellmead where Lucille was a homemaker and later began working at Mars Candy, where she retired after 20 years.

Lucille was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bellmead, and remained active until physical constraints kept her homebound in the twilight years of her life. Her faith always sustained her throughout life's journey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, brother, JT Homer Pick, and nephews, Robert Pick and Jay Pick. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Janet Poston and Gloria Buchhorn and husband, Ray; brothers-in-law, Ronald Poston and wife, Nancy and Richard Poston and wife, Dorothy; nephews Leslie Pick and Luther Pick; nieces Peggy Spears, Donna Pick and Jayne Good, and a host of relatives and friends who will miss her gentle spirt and uplifting personality.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1301 Hogan Ln, Waco, TX 76705.
