She was a homemaker however, that's saying the very least. Margie was much more than that! She loved her family unconditionally and took nothing yet gave her everything, never counting the sacrifices that she made. She was a natural, she made even the most difficult tasks seem simple. Things will not be the same without her. She loved to crochet and loved gardening, camping and traveling; but most of all she was not afraid to work. She was still working regularly two evenings per week at 90 years old. She was nothing short of amazing! She married A.F. Looney, Jr. January 23, 1952 and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2006. She is also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Bobby Charles Looney in 1975 and Alvin Frank Looney in 2003; brothers, Jimmy Hawkins Hord and Dr. Larry Dean Hord.Margie is survived by her son, Larry A. Looney; sisters, Frankie Kirkes and Bonnie Branch; daughter in law, Debora Looney; grandchildren, Jason, Kyle, Carrie and Travis; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Margie Looney will always be a blessing to us all.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the White Rock Cemetery Association.
