Mary Louise Williams, 82, of Waco, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 25 at a local nursing home surrounded by her family. Services will be 2 pm Thursday, Jan. 30 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday Jan. 29 at the funeral home. Mary was born December 29, 1931 in Waco, to Emmitt Floyd and Virginia Lee (Summey) Williams and attended the old Alta Vista school. She worked for the first Whataburger in Waco, located on LaSalle Ave. and then Chapman's Drive Inn. After 45 years of service, she retired from El Chico where everyone called her Mommy. Mary loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd Lee and James Marion Williams. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Ann Rangel of Waco; sons, Clyde Henry Jones and wife, Cindy of Prairie Hill and Emmitt Lee Jones of West; brother, Arthur Williams of Elm Mott; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and her dog, Angel. Pallbearers will be, Billy Jones, Jeremy Newton, Chris Nanny, James Allen, Robert Allen, Alf Lozano and Bobby Jones. The family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to Royal Manor Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice.
