Mary Mach Henry, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the age of 104 and one-half years old. Services will be 1 pm Monday, December 29 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Mary was born in 1910 in Elk, Texas to Adolph and Kathryn (Sana) Mach and was the oldest of seven children. She married Lilburn Henry in 1931, and they were married for 64 years until his death in 1995. They farmed for many years in the Elk community, until moving to Bellmead. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing and working in their yard and garden. She and Lilburn also had the opportunity to travel to many places across the country. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred, Joe and Ed; 2 sister-in-laws, Margrete Mach and Tincie Mach; and 2 nephews, Richard Adamek and Michael Mach. Survivors include her sisters, Emma Crafton of El Segundo, California, Adele Hanus of Bellmead and Olga Adamek of Hallsburg; sister-in-law Celia Mach of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and spunky personality. The family would like to express their thanks to Providence Hospice, Lutheran Sunset Nursing Home and West Rest Haven for the exceptional care she received.
