Nathan Larry Sanders, 66, of Round Mountain, Nevada, passed away Friday June 4, at his sister's residence in Riesel. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, June 8 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Monday, June 7 at the funeral home. Larry was born January 21, 1944 in Rosebud, Texas to Nathan Edward and Mary Helen (Schneider) Sanders. He graduated from LaVega High School in 1962 and married Kay Mickey on August 21, 1964. He worked for Round Mountain Gold Company for 20 years and was an EMT for the Nye Company for several years. Larry enjoyed all types of sports but especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. His father preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Kay Sanders of Round Mountain, Nevada; his mother Mary Helen Sanders of Riesel; his daughter Julie Renee McIntosh and husband David and his son Nathan Charles Sanders and wife Tracy all of Colorado; his sister Carylon Orum of Riesel; granddaughters Kayley, Kenzie and Kyra Sanders; grandson Joshua Sanders; and several nieces and nephews.
