Neil Edward Campbell, 59, of Ross, went to be with his Risen Savior on Easter Sunday, March 31 in Groesbeck. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Thursday, April 4 and memorial services will follow at 7 pm at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Ayers officiating. Neil was born December 3, 1953 in Waco to Edward Lee and Wanda (Redden) Campbell. He attended LaVega Schools and married his high school sweetheart Theresa Dennis. Neil loved his family and friends, and enjoyed sharing memories of coon hunting, fishing and playing dominoes. He worked for the Railroad for many years. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Theresa Campbell of Ross; daughters, Cristy Polk and husband, David of Gatesville and Amber Sandell and husband, Jason of Groesbeck; son, Josh Campbell and wife, Janell of Longview; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Deborah Lowery and husband George and Karen Svoboda all of Waco, Richard Campbell and wife, Sylvia of Bynum and Randall Campbell of Wichita Falls; many nieces and nephews; and his favorite companion, Bingo.
