Olivia Tucker Cloud passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 23, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 11 am Saturday, March 26 at Waco Memorial Park, with Rev. Jimmy Sansom officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday, March 25 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Olivia was born in Rusk, Texas on October 25, 1912 to Lena and Richmond Tucker. She graduated from Rusk High School in 1931 and worked as a telephone operator for about 5 years. She married Arnold Clinton Cloud on October 27, 1936 and they moved to Waco in 1941. Olivia was a charter member of Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church where she taught Children's Sunday school for many years and continued to give faithfully after she could no longer attend services. She enjoyed cooking for her family, had a good sense of humor, a sweet smile and loved the color pink. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Clinton Cloud, sisters Norma Morrow and Leota Vaughn, brother Richmond Tucker and grandson Michael Wayne Harris. Survivors include her daughter Linda Harris and husband Garry; grandson Terry Harris and wife Kenna; great granddaughters Olivia Harris, Emilie Harris and Kim Garcia and husband Michael; great grandsons G.C. Harris and Ty Harris; great great grandson Jaxson Garcia. Also surviving is her son Robert C. Cloud and wife Martha; grandsons Robert E. and Gregory; granddaughter Amy Hobart and husband Rob; great granddaughters Grace Cloud and Hattie Hobart; great grandsons Bobby Cloud and Robert Hobart; nephews Charles Morrow and wife Dorothy, Duane Cloud and wife Marty and Lehane Cloud and wife Peggy. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Harris, G.C. Harris, Rob Cloud, Greg Cloud and Rob Hobart. The family would like to express appreciation to the caregivers at Ridgecrest Retirement Center and Providence Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorials may be made to Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church or Providence Hospice.
