Oneta Stiles, 84, of Waco, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Waco. She was born May 12, 1930, in Groveton, Texas to Roy and Lillie (Hill) King who were in the logging business. Oneta attended school in Porter, Texas and eventually moved to California where she worked for Ford Motor Company for 18 years. Moving back to Texas she went to work at Baylor University as a Safety Supervisor and worked 28 years until retiring. After retirement she moved to Lake Limestone where she stayed until moving in with her daughter and granddaughter and enjoyed taking care of her family. Oneta was a lifetime member, treasurer and past vice president of the Am vets Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Lawrence R. Suazo in 1987 and Bill Stiles on October 23, 2012; her daughter, Wanda Carol in 1969; and son, William Carl Lewis. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Abel; grandchildren, Tina, Tanya and Robbie; great grandchildren, Kasey, Calvin, Hanna, Abbe and Braz; great-great grandchildren, Katelynn and Magdalynn; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
