Christine Pursche, 89, of Waco passed away Monday, September 30 at a local hospital. Services will be 10 am Friday, October 4 at Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Wimberley and Margaret Friend officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday, October 3 at Bellmead Funeral Home. Christine was born March 9, 1924 in Waco to Benjamin F. and Myrtle Idella (McFarlin) Teague. She graduated from Waco High School in 1943 and married Ernest John Pursche April 23, 1944 in Waco. She was a homemaker and member of Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church which she dearly loved. Christine was the most loving person who would rather take the hurt than hurt someone else and lived her life daily for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, W. A. Teague; and her sisters, Evelyn Smith and Ruth Teague. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Pursche of Waco; son, Larry Pursche of Waco; daughter, Carolyn Johnson and husband Dale of LaMarque; grandchildren, Jennifer Oren, Brian Pursche, Kimberly Riendfliesch, Rachel Keehn, Eve Mora and David Johnson; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be, Rodney Outlaw, Roger Mora, Brian Pursche, David Johnson, Ethan Mora, and Tom Oren.
