Raymond Paul Skarpa

Raymond Paul Skarpa, of Waco, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 in Mexia, Texas at the age of 86.

He was born on April 3, 1939 in Waco, Texas to Frank Skarpa and Albina (Stastny) Skarpa.

Raymond attended Abbott, Texas schools and graduated from Abbott High School. He was the chief of the Police Department in West before going to work at the Pure Milk Company that was later bought by Oak Farms, where he worked and retired.

His passion was working in his yard which was his pride and joy. He loved to play Dominos, Dance, and Drinking cold beverages.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Albina Skarpa; wife, Mary Helen Skarpa and a brother.

He is survived by a son, Daryl Skarpa and wife Kelli; stepsons, Travis Austin McAlister, Jr. and Jeff Dean McAlister; grandchildren, Kelsey and husband Jsin, and Colby Skarpa and fiance Chloe; great grandchildren, Maddox Taylor and Cauldon Taylor.
