Ricky Don Berry, Sr. left this world on November 14, 2021. He was born in Waco, Texas on December 19. 1950, to Luther (Buster) and Lottie Berry. Since he was young Ricky enjoyed playing music and at the age of 13 taught himself to play the drums and a short time later the steel guitar. He became Known all around for the smooth sound of his steel guitar. His band credits include: Don Brumble and the Western Gentlemen, Cross Fire, Lone Star Legend, Bandit, Shiloh, Country Gold and Country Express.

Ricky also worked with entertainers such as Johnny Bush, Bob Wills and Joe Stampley. During his time playing with the band "Lone Star Legend" the band won "Battle of the Bands" a competition that was held that show case bands from all over the area.

Ricky worked at Allen Samuels in the parts department until his retirement. He enjoyed watching "The Rifleman" and "Gunsmoke" on TV and listening to the country music.

Preceding him in death was his parents, brother's David and Larry Berry and great granddaughter Georgia Grace Berry.

He is survived by his son Ricky Don Berry Jr. and his wife Donna, daughter Annette Weathers and her husband Tracy. Five Grandchildren, Justin Berry and his wife Karlie, Brandon Berry and his wife Taylor, and Jay Johnson. Great grandson Jackson Johnson, granddaughter Carlie Weathers and a grandson Clint Johnson. Brother, Bobby Berry and his wife Donna. Several nieces and nephews.
