Robert Milton :Bob" Troutt, 90, of Hallsburg, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, in Waco. Private services will be at a later date. Bob was born November 22, 1923, in Crawford, Texas to David and Stella (Mitchell) Trout. He served in WWII in the Eighth Air Force and received the Bronze Star. He retired from General Tire after 40 years of service in the maintenance Department. Bob was a volunteer with the Mart and Hallsburg Volunteer Fire Departments. In July of 2012, he received his 60 year membership in the Masonic Lodge and was also a Shiner. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marjorie Neil (Holder) Troutt. Survivors include his daughter, Charlotte Dreyer and husband, Nelson, of Waco; granddaughter, Karen McSpadden and husband, R. W., of Hewitt; great-grandson, Kenneth James Walts of Riesel; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff's of Texas Quality Home Health, Providence Hospice, Dr. David Fedro and his care givers, Edwina and Barbara for all their care and support. Memorial may be made to the Hallsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
